It’s all great Power Pop music, but it’s probably from band’s you may not have heard about, unless you're really into this genre. At the risk of being redundant, we realize that Power Pop music is already “Unpopular Pop” music according to Jon Brion, but you probably won’t hear these songs on your FM radio. We wanted to give the spotlight to more independent artists who wouldn’t normally get the type of promotion you’d get if they were on one of the major record labels. So, if you like what you hear, support these artists and buy their music.
